ABOUT PASTOR ROBERT SCHULTZ...

Pastor Robert Schultz of South St. Paul, Minnesota, and his family, moved to Andover
in December of 2000. His installation took place the beginning of January, 2001. He
was raised in South St. Paul, his home congregation was Grace Lutheran. He graduated
from St. Croix Lutheran High School in 1970, then spent four years in the Marine Corps
as a Military Policeman. In preparation for the seminary, he attended Bethany College
in Mankato, Minnesota, and graduated from the seminary in 1984, vicaring at Bethlehem
Lutheran in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He started his ministry at St. Peter's Lutheran in
Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin from 1984 to 1989, then served at Trinity Lutheran in Manitowoc,
Wisconsin from 1989 to 2000. He is an avid hockey and baseball fan. His wife, Mary, was
raised in St. Paul Park. She is a graduate of Park High. They married in 1973. She
graduated with a teaching degree in Special Education from the University of Green Bay
in May 2001. She likes plants, animals and crafts. They have eight children: Letitia,
Chris (he & his wife, Wendy live in Wisconsin), Rebekah, and five children that were
adopted August of 2006: Sammantha, Riley, Brandon, Emma, and Joe.
